What's In A Name?
Obviously, we have decided on the name Jack Hampton for our new arrival. We've been calling him this since we saw his little face on the ultrasound, and we cannot imagine calling him anything else :-)! I wanted to give an explanation of where the name came from, for those interested in that type of thing. Jack was Phil's maternal grandfather's name, John 'Jack' Jennings. Hampton was my paternal great-great-great grandfather's name, Hampton Micajah Crews. We loved both names and thought it was a good way to represent each side of the family, without using names that are already 'in use'. I hope he agrees!!

Jack Hampton Taylor is a great name, it sounds like one Tom Clancy would use for a hero. So if my nephew ends up saving the world one day don't be too surprised!
