Surprises!

Jack had a surprise package from Aunt Susan yesterday. He had the MOST fun with the foam peanuts, which did not go straight into the mouth! If only these photos showed how quickly his arms and legs were moving.

Another surprise, the weather! It was wonderful today, overcast and in the high 50s! It was wonderful to go out, we even went on a long walk. And also a trip to Target to get Jack some socks (I guess that is the first sign summer is almost over). It amazing that every year, I not only forgot how hot the summer can be, but also how nice those first days of fall are. Phil picked up this Elmo 'sofa' yesterday. Jack loves it when we sit him on the sofa or in the chair, but ours are too high for him to climb on, so this was perfect. He's played with it and on it all day, stopping every once and awhile for a little break.
