Had a doctor's appointment today. Everything looked fine, strong little heartbeat - when he stopped moving long enough for the doctor to locate it! He is definitely a mover and a shaker. The doctor was surprised at how I was measuring this week. 4 weeks ago I was at 25 1/2 inches and today was at 38 inches. We may have quite a big baby on our hands! So, she ordered an additional ultrasound in 3 weeks to check things out. We are excited to get an inside peek at him again.
Phil and I started our Childbirth Classes 2 weeks ago and have been bombarded with information and decisions to make and think about! These classes seem to be where you really get most of your information (especially for us first time parents) and then you can use that to have good conversations with your doctor and be sure to ask the right questions. Its hard to believe we only have about 2 months left!

Glad to hear things are going well! I hope the next scan is fun - maybe Jack isn't so big, but you're carrying lots of water? I had a friend who had that - she was worried about having a huge baby, but Mara was very small.
BTW, I started Jack's pooh calendar the other week. Progress is slow - it took a week to do about 1/2 a 'month block'. I suspect it will be a first b'day present. There's a picture of it (so far) at:
